Better Late Than Never
Hello, and welcome to the debut of my newsletter on Substack.
At a late stage in life, I decided that I would take the encouragement of friends, and try my hand at communicating and connecting with individuals and communities through the written word.
There are so many great writers here, young minds with old souls that have so so much wisdom, that it’s a bit intimidating at the start. Hopefully, I can ease into it as time goes by, and not turn it into something that comes across as a dry policy paper from the Council On Foreign Relations, or a medical journal like The Lancet.
Basically, I just want to write about the aspects of life that move me toward truth. Truth is a precious and undervalued commodity in these times.
So, speaking to the truth: I am, or have been a drummer, musician, Union stagehand, and observer of politics. Due to COVID, as with so many millions of people, life is a bit off track at the moment.
So, here I go, whether it all fizzles and ultimately means nothing, or if we can make a connection remains to be seen.
